2015 FIELD TO VASE DINNER TOUR

Mellano & Company has been pleased to be a sponsor of the 2015 Field to Vase dinner tour.  It was a truly amazing time that brought awareness to the American Grown flower movement nationwide!  The domestic flower industry is a diverse and rich industry.  With a growing locally grown consumer movement, the California Cut Flower Commission currently led by Mike Anthony Mellano is making a difference by spotlighting American Grown flower farmers and the beauty they bring to the marketplace.

Throughout the year American Grown Flowers hosted elegant dinners at flower farms across the country from California to Boulder, Colorado and Washington, D.C.  Each dinner featured locally grown/produced food, beer, and wine, and of course lots of American grown flowers.  In April the tour made a stop in our very own Carlsbad Flower Fields!

The tour concluded in October with dinners in Portland, Oregon, Fallbrook, California, and Detroit, Michigan.  We’re already looking forward to the 2016 tour and if you missed the dinners this year we hope you’ll come to one or two next year.
